Give it to me.. 13 times

Our second concert!!

I loooove Toots & The Maytals.  They are one of my fvorite bands, and after seeing 2 shows within a year, Im sooo Impressed at the 79 year old Mr. Hibbert.  That man sure can take care of himself!  Ken was so amazing and got me a second Maytals shirt too :)  We had a great time dancing to their classics.

Jeff also brought me to D Roti Shak - one of the latest caribbean restaurants in Vancouver.  I had Mauby and Peanut Punch!  Ken has made me mauby before but I didn't like it as it was so bitter, but the one at D Roti Shak is really good.  The peanut punch was also amazing and tasted like a peanut chocolate bar as a drink!

Jeff ordered a bunch of appetizers for us to try.

I also ordered their chicken stew and shrimp roti.. which made for 2 extra meals in leftovers!  Their portions are great, and the food is so flavorful!

Whatcha gonna do when you play with danger

Canada Day with Kenyo <3

Ken was DJing for the City of Coquitlam for Canada Day and it was so much fun!  He is so great at what he does, and it was cool to see the mayor and his wife dancing to his music requesting to keep him on longer than his set.

Even though there were no fireworks, it was a great night!

Tuesday, Nacho and I met up for more California Sushi.. it's just sooo good to eat on a hot day.

Catch up posts!

Just a few posts to follow of some good times in the city lately.. to start was a sushi meet up with Nacho at our favorite California Sushi!  They even had a new menu with some great new rolls!

I also went for lunch with Jeff to El Inka where we watched Italy take out Germany in the Euro Cup on an El Salvador channel.. it reminds me of Cali when all the commercials and commentators are in espanol.

Last saturday, Ken & checked out the Latin festival downtown where I enjoyed free food from Meric, our dance circles, and even a conga line throughout the crowd.  It was a great night!
